Update

Hey guys!

So, a couple things have been going on lately, and I figured I'd just go ahead and give a quick rundown.

• I turned 16 last Tuesday! Because of this, I've moved up a division in the SCA youth combat program. Those of you who are familiar with youth combat know that I am now in Dragon division and you know what that entails. Those who don't know, I'll explain: Basically, I go from wrapping rattan in a pool noodle and hitting people with it, to NOT wrapping rattan in a pool noodle and hitting people with it.
• Yesterday was my first day in the new division. This resulted in a particularly nasty bruise on my left side right above my hip, a lighter one on my left forearm and a few on my rear from what's known as an "ass-wrap" (that one hurt like hell). The craziest thing though is that the bruises on my butt are not NEARLY as bad as the one on my side, but my butt hurt the most! Where is the logic in this.
• Two weeks ago, I went into a mental hospital for five and a half days for depression. They put me on anti-anxiety/depression meds and it seems to be working fairly well.
